nothing better to do... spent 4D3N in Langkawi.. well.. it's been years since we all last visit to Langkawi...

so take this long weekend holidays to go explore the island again and have some good rest...

 

1st day - took taxi, to LCCT, take air asia, landed langkawi island at about 12.30 afternoon...

at first we don't plan to rent a car for 4 days, since the price is pretty cheap, MyVI RM240 for 52 hours...

hmm, quite a cheap deal, and save the hassle to find car tomorrow... there are plenty of them "promoting" car rental right the luggage claim area, checked with a few counters and get this cheapet deal... KV6342C... and tat's how we started our journey!!

 

found a map, trying our best to find out where's berjaya... and reached there after a short journey...

checked in... as usual, the room is not ready, so we had our light lunch and welcome drink at the lobby lounge...

after that, we lepak abit in the room, then decided to pay the hotel swimming pool a visit...

it was quite nice... relaxing... and plenty of bikini gals!!!!

 

after shower we drove out to cenang beach for dinner.. and found this Debbie's Place a wonderful destination! thanks to a fren's introduction..

it was a small irish pub & restaurant...

and it was full-house at all time!!! with most of them ang-mohs...

i have to say the food was MARVELLOUS! which makes us all forget to take photos...

 

2nd day - today plan was free and easy...

no time limit, no time frame, wanna go where then go... wanna stop where then stop...

this is what i called life... heheee...

went down to kuah town for brunch... it's so hard to locate a chinese shops... only until kuah town...

after meal, went to dataran lang... as far as i can remember.. the previous time when i was here it was so so crowded...

but not anymore nowadays! what's wrong?

 

after that we went down to perdana gallery, it is a museum which collected all the souvenirs that was given to Tun Mahathir...

and they kept them here in this museum. nothing special, just trying to have a look wat exactly in there...

then we went to snake sanctuary... it was a great disappointment!

RM10 pax entrance fees... to see some sleeping snakes...

everything is so old... and it seems like there's no proper maintenance taking place for YEARS...

well, we did "tried" to have fun in there....

 

we went back hotel after that, cause we made a reservation in hotel thai restaurant for dinner...

sea-view, night sea breeze... romantic light... romantic songs and dinner...

it was a BLAST! costy meal... very very costy... and we went for KFC right after that dinner!

 

* 2nd night went to bed with heart bleeding over the bill of the thai restaurant...

 

3rd day - we are going to the mountain... to the cable car!!!

apparently this sight-seeing point is just a stone throw away from berjaya beach resort...

paid RM15 pax to hop-on the cable car... and it was a very very tiring trip...

it's either i have to carry chloe... or i have to carry her stroller..

the scenery was nice, magnificient... cool morning... but no rain...

luckily the weather was great... else i will be dead up there!

 

after lunch we went down to the underwater world!

sigh... it's almost the same as the snake sanctuary... RM28 pax... and you get to see all the fish that you could normally see in a seafood restaurant!

but you don't get to eat them... THAT'S IT!

i think there are even more stuff to see insides the Zon duty free shop!!!

 

we had a marvellous seafood dinner at the night to end our langkawi journey!

langkawi is heaven... with the duty free stuff... simply amazing...

when can i go there again?!
